From Robo Guitar to King Sisingamangaraja



Binus Jazz Society presented 6 numbers on their performance at Orion Stage- JakJazz 2008, Istora Senayan, Friday evening 8:00 -9:00. There were:
1. Robo Guitar - a funk, fusion style instrument song composed by John Legoh (Guitar)
2. Kuta Raja - an ehtnic, latin fusion style instrument song composed by Ade Hamzah (Bass)
3. Lullaby from Birdland -Jazz Standard- Swing Style sung by BJS Singers: Sonia, Shalimar, Tasya and Virgo arranged by Hary Wisnu(Flute/Sax)
4. Burung Kutilang - a children song composed by Ibu Sud arranged by Herry Rajasa(pianist) into an interesting Swing/Samba Style instrument music.
5. Lately - a Pop song from Stevie Wonder which arranged by Hary Wisnu(Flute/Sax) into Pop Fusion Jazz style sung by Ade Sihabudin as a lead singer with background singers= Patrick Lorenzo, Sonia, Shalimar, Tasya and Virgo
6. King Si-Singamngaraja - an instrument music work composed by Sadrakh Hutapea which featuring ethnic insrument(Traditional Bataknese Flute) played by Sinaga and Violin played by himself.


During the last presentation, we also featuring Ricky Raden (Binus School Simprug Visual Arts Teacher) to exhibit his skills drawing/painting with acrylic connected to the song (King Si-singamangaraja)in about 8-9 minutes.

We ended our performance with happy face smiling both from players and supporters as our target to entertain JakJazz 2008 audience seems have been achieved well. Good Bye JakJazz 2008... Thank you Mr. Ireng Maulana and his JakJazz Production staffs which have done amazing work for the success of this event. C U Next Year..BRAVO
